Interested in a career in manufacturing? HACC and MANTEC are hosting a free Manufacturing Virtual Training Program where individuals will have an opportunity to receive OSHA and First Aid Training in addition to a four week soft skills training to prepare/enhance their skills for a career in the manufacturing sector. At the end of the program, individuals will interview directly with York County employers. Individuals 16 years of age and above are eligible to apply and participate in the program. Congratulations to York C.A.R.E.S. on their $84,740 grant to help those without homes living in our shared community. Funding is being provided by the Wolf Administration for emergency shelters and temporary emergency shelters for those experiencing homelessness in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic. The funds will be used to help York C.A.R.E.S. prevent the spread of and respond to the coronavirus by continuing to provide emergency shelter and outreach for people experiencing homelessness this winter.
