Around 2330 hours E702 was dispatched to relocate to Maytown-East Donegal Fire. Company. Prior to response they were redirected to the scene in East Donegal Township for a well involved barn fire. Shortly after, Tanker 70 was alerted to the fire as well. E702 remains on the scene at this time.

On Saturday June 5th, the Department hosted a "mock" vehicle accident scenario complete with "victims" as a graduation finale for the NWEMS EMT students. The EMT students were tasked with providing all patient care while the Fire Department provided the rescue skills. It was great to see so many young people desiring to enter the EMS field. Collectively, 7 patients were treated and transport in 28 minutes, including 6 that had to be extricated from vehicles under a trailer, on it's roof and on its side. Congratulations to all the EMT students and thank you to the relatives and friends of the students who came out to support them.

Around 3:23PM units were dispatched to Route 283 West near mile marker 14.3 for a reported vehicle accident with unknown injuries. It was the immediately updated to an accident with entrapment adding E741 and multiple EMS units. Chief 70 arrived on the serious incident finding two patients and loose cattle that had escaped from the back of the trailer. Entrapment was negative, although one patient was confined in his vehicle due to the cable barrier system. E741 was assigned patient care and initiated stabilization as well. E702 was assigned to assist in patient care and hazard control. Route 283 West was closed for about an hour and 45 minutes while crews operated and the vehicles and debris were cleared. Traffic 23 from East Petersburg provided traffic control at the Cloverleaf Road off ramp.
