Rick's Shoe Repair

For those of you who have been waiting for the return of Rick's Shoe Repair, I'm back. But not as Rick's Shoe Repair. I am now part of Foot Solutions located at 3601 Nazareth Rd (rt248) Easton. Phone 610-438-8267. It's still me doing all the repairs and I can't wait to see all the friends and loyal customers I made over the 17 years I was in business on my own. However due to other job commitments I will only be there on Saturday's for the first 2 or 3 weeks from 10 - 4. afte...r that time I will be there late afternoons during the week. When that gets closer I will let you know those hours. Repair items can be dropped off anytime during regular business hours which are Monday thru Friday 10 - 6 and Saturday 10 - 4. Ok, so here's the semi annual update (haha).You all know the saying one step forward two steps back. Well in my case it's more like 4 or 5 steps back. I don't think an actual store front is going to work out. It's been suggested that I rent something like a garage to set up a workshop and just do it that way for now. I've found 1 or 2 to look into but if anyone out there has a space they would like to rent or know someone who does please message me. I don't want to give it up... for good so I'm trying to find other alternatives. Also, over the past week I've had 2 customers bring shoes to my house for repair. I did a google search for my store and sure enough my store address got replaced with my home address. I don't know how but it's happened. So for now I'm just going to go with it. I don't have room here for the machines to do soles and heels but I can do most stitching work. I can only do it on the weekends right now as I work 14 to 15 hours a day between 2 jobs. I won't be able to get anything out of storage until this coming weekend but feel free to message me with any questions or comments. Though you can find my address through a search I am not going to post it here. I will tell you it's not on Nicholas St. but it is only 2 minutes from the old shop. I've been closed for over a year now and I still run into plenty of people wanting to know if and when I'm going to start again. Many of them refuse to go anyplace else and I appreciate their loyalty and confidence in my work. If you want me back I need your help. Somehow we can make this work and try to get myself into a better situation and never have to close again. A lot more people than I thought have told me they miss me and I definitely miss all of you. I met a lot of great people over the 17 years I was in business and hope to be back and fully functional again. Take care and hope to see you soon. Rick

Hello everyone, it's been a long time since I had anything to post but I finally have some good news. I signed the new lease yesterday and I'm hoping to have the store open sometime in the first week of May. The address is 128 N. 3rd st. Easton.

Still working on a new store in Easton. Got past one big hurdle and working on another one. I'm hoping to be able to sign a lease in the next few weeks.

Hello everyone, I want to let you know that Rick' Shoe Repair will be closing on Saturday May 12. I hope to be moving to a new location soon and will keep you posted here. Thank you to everyone who visited the store over the past 17 years. I had a great time and made alot of friends. Some unfortunate news, while moving equipment I had an accident and suffered a spinal fracture. It should only delay my plans for a new store for a short time. As I said I will keep you up to date here on a new store and start a new chapter for Rick's Shoe Repair. Thank You, Rick
