We’re going going, back back, to Venus Venus. @nasa has announced that we are returning to our sister world and nearest planetary neighbor for two new missions. Part of the Discovery program, these missions will attempt to uncover how Venus became an inhabitable(?), hellish inferno as well as to determine if it did at one point foster life before the runaway greenhouse effect took hold.
