When choosing a gas station to buy fuel use only stations that have "TOP TIER" Gasoline. TOP TIER has nothing to do with the octane rating. 87 octane is fine for almost every car. TOP TIER refers to the detergent level of the gas. It is important to know that just because gas has a high octane rating or is called premium does not mean it is TOP TIER. BP,EXXON,MOBIL,SUNOCO, AND SHELL are some of the companies that sell TOP TIER.
