Happy 2021! Today's Ross Elementary Super Hero Spotlight is... Name: Mr. Jason Beall Position at Ross Elementary: Principal ... Years at Ross: 3 Hobby: A good workout Pet: Bella, a Chihuahua/Papillon mix ~Favorites~ Color: Blue and green have always been my favorite colors Candy: A snickers or Twix bar although it is hard to beat a Reese's Peanut Butter Cup out of the freezer Food: Pizza, burgers and fries, most anything Mexican - all the things that are terrible for you....which is why I have to make sure I get a good workout in each day Restaurant: The Bad Bean Baja Grill in the Outer Banks - we look forward to enjoying some nachos and their Baja salad with pickled onions each year! Sport: Football and basketball Book: I enjoy reading about great people and events from history - I recently read about Abraham Lincoln as you might have guessed from the anecdote about his Gettysburg Address I shared in November. Vacation: Yearly trip to the Outer Banks Holiday: Halloween....It has been such a fun day to celebrate with my little ones, Harper and Jaxson, because you get to do lots of fun things in anticipation of it, most years at least ;) Favorite way you spend free time: Enjoying time with my family A fact about yourself the students would love to know: Once upon a time, many years ago, two buddies and I won a local Hoop-It-Up tournament and got to play in the Hoop-It-Up world championships in San Antonio. Thank you, Mr. Beall, for keeping Ross Elementary a great school for our kids and a fun place!!
