Rotary Club of Downtown Lock Haven

It's a red letter day for the Little Red Libraries in Lock Haven! Two new ones have been installed -- at Piper-Harmon Playground and at the Vesper Street steps to the levee pavilion, near the City Beach. The Rotary Club of Downtown Lock Haven sponsors all SIX Little Libraries in town, where you can take a book, leave a book, or do both!

The Flags of Honor were respectfully folded this evening and stored away until Memorial Day 2022. Thank you to VETS Plus, Girl Troop and Boy Troop 66, Cub Scouts Pack 54, the missionaries from the Church of LDS, Addison Nestlerode and other family members and friends we call our "Rotary Community Corps" for helping things go swiftly and smoothly.

Thank you bunches Vets Plus, Troop 66, Mormons , Rotarians for taking down our flags . Many hands made the task quick.

Please, it was a good jester but our Little Library at Triangle Park is not for knitted hats. Today I found three in the library. 2 had a tag saying, I’m lost if you are cold take me. Another didn’t have a tag. I brought them home to be washed. I will donate them after to the shoe bank . I consulted Diahann and Marianne. Please the libraries are for books. We have found dog bones, puzzles, and now knit hats.
