Our first wedding of 2020 was a great success yesterday. I am so proud, impressed, and thankful for all the little creative ways the couple and their family made efforts to keep their guests safe while still being able to have fun. Yes, every single cookie was individually wrapped. I applaud them for putting so much effort into being able to make this Pennsylvania tradition still possible during these crazy times. The Richland Township Volunteer Fire Department would like to take this opportunity to thank our residents and businesses for their outstanding support. While ...it is our goal to serve our community in the best way possible, during these trying times, our efforts are even more challenged. All First Reponders, as well as their families, fulfill a special calling that the general public may never understand. While we are advancing toward something that most are fleeing, it is with an immeasurable amount of pride that we do our best to insure the safety of all others. It is through the amazing offerings of uplifting words, in-kind donations and Annual Fund Drive contributions that we hope to sustain the quality of protection that our community has come to depend upon. Although it is not our goal to receive praise and accolades, we do humbly appreciate when our community recognizes our efforts.
