Today Glick Fire Equipment Company completed pump tests on our engine, truck and attack. All three passed this required test.

The Windber football team is having a bake sale and car wash at the windber community building today. Help support these young men today!

Truck Company 616 is doing a stand by for Somerset Vol. Fire Department. While they are doing a funeral detail for Sheriff Brad Cramer our thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends. Truck 616 has a staffing of 5.

Yesterday we lost a long time member of our fire Department. Darlene "Gert" Newcomer. She cooked many meals for the banquet hall, miners day, and fundraisers before moving to Virginia then Florida. She was like an aunt to many of the members children when she lived here. She will be truly missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with her sister and brothers.
