JFR Salvage will be closed Friday July 3rd and Saturday July 4th in observance of Indepedence Day! We wish everybody a Happy July 4th weekend. Stay safe and stay healthy.

J. F. R. Salvage in Wind Gap and East Stroudsburg will be closed on Monday, May 25.

JFR Salvage Wind Gap and East Stroudsburg will be re-opening Monday May 4th at 7:00. We will be open our normal business hours M-F 7-4:30 and Sat 7-12. We’ll be implementing some new procedures to insure we’re keeping both our employees and customers safe. - All customers must wear a mask while on the premises and outside their vehicle -Only one person/vehicle at a time will be allowed in the metal room ... -Only one person at a time will be allowed in the office for payment * These guidelines will be strictly enforced until further notice. Anybody unable to follow will be asked to leave and will NOT be permitted to sell their scrap metal. Thank you for understanding and we look forward to seeing everybody. Stay safe.

From employees at the Superstores. HOME DEPOT, LOWES, WALMART, WINCO and COSTCO!!! ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!! THIS IS THE POST THAT SHOULD BE SHARED THE MOST!!! Just ...because we are open doesn't mean we are here for you to spend your time BROWSING around. We are designated as an ESSENTIAL SERVICE. We are not here for you because you have nothing else to do. We are not here for you because you feel like getting out of the house for awhile. We are in a STATE OF EMERGENCY. This is NOT A VACATION! Every customer who walks in our doors PUTS US AT RISK. We really don't want to be here, but we realize that we are needed. YOU don't see how many times a day we wash and sanitize our hands to try to keep ourselves safe. YOU don't see our upset co-workers in the break room struggling to keep their composure. YOU don't see our spouses who worry about us every minute we are at work and who are our strength when we get home. We have our jobs to do and we realize the IMPORTANCE OF OUR JOB TO YOU. The LEAST you can do is come in with a sense of purpose, get what you need, and get yourselves HOME. Please share, maybe we can get the message out there. See more

Hope everybody is remaining safe and following the necessary measures. We’re sorry we can’t be open to the public during these times as we adhere to the government orders. Due to the current conditions scrap steel, aluminum, and copper are all at multi year lows. Stay home and hold onto your scrap metal until the prices go up. Better days are ahead.

These last couple of weeks have been heartbreaking for our family but we are deeply grateful for the love and support we’ve received. Nothing can erase the pain of losing a child but the kind words and gestures provided by all of you have helped and will continue to help us heal. The joy of old memories triumphed over lost time as friends and family came from near and far to say goodbye to John. Listening to your stories reminded us of the best times in John’s life and allowed us to revisit a side of him we had long missed. We are so truly thankful for the time and effort you’ve taken to be here for him and for us. John didn’t use Facebook (always a non-conformist!) but most of his friends do so I hope that this note reaches all of you and you understand just how much your actions mean to us. Thank you.
