This has been a very tough time for everyone. This is our 30th year in business as of May 9. The only way we can celebrate for now is to have a special 30% off sale to include all BCDs and Wetsuits until May 31. We are open regular hours for your convenience. Please wear a mask. We have been tending to repairs and Rescue Squad needs.

Stress is a major cause of diving accidents and negatively impacts rescue situations. This program teaches you the skills and knowledge required to recognize and deal with stress, prevent accidents and properly deal with emergency situations encountered by divers. You will earn the SSI Diver Stress and Rescue Specialty certification after completing this program. NEXT CLASS: MAY 11 CLASSROOM, MAY 12 TRAINING DIVES

We have a few openings in a Nitrox Class starting tomorrow, March 8, 6 to ? for the classroom. Here is a chance to finish a class over the Winter months, to get your season off to a great start. ****The SSI Enriched Air Nitrox program will teach you how to safely plan and dive with enriched air mixtures of up to 40% oxygen. Diving with enriched air can increase your no-decompression limits, increase your safety, and reduce the required length of your surface intervals when... compared to air. You will earn the SSI Enriched Air Nitrox 32% or 40% certification after completing this program. Another great class to take to begin or master your U/W Photography is our Specialty class starting March 9, from 6 to 9 for the classroom. The pool work will be on the 11th from 8 AM to ?. ****This program teaches you the skills needed to dive with an underwater camera, and provides the in-depth knowledge and experience required to properly use, maintain and store your equipment. Our goal is help you capture your amazing underwater experiences. You will earn the SSI Photo & Video Specialty certification. At the end of the month, March 20, 21, & 22 we have the Fish and Coral ID class for all those wanting to know what they saw or took a picture of. We offer this as a two specialty class. This is a very popular class for those heading to the islands. ****The ocean is filled with fascinating and beautiful fish of every shape and size. This non-diving specialty program teaches you the skills and concepts required to identify the common families of Caribbean, Indo-Pacific, and Red Sea reef fish. You will earn the SSI Fish Identification Specialty certification after completing this program. ****Coral reefs are the building blocks of many ocean ecosystems. This program teaches you the skills and concepts required to recognize and identify common families of coral species. You will earn the SSI Coral Identification Specialty certification after completing this program. FACTS

Another great Cooper River, SC dive trip. Our group went out with Mark Johnson and John Cercopely. Both Captains did a great job to help us find the mother load of teeth and artifacts. The water temp was 82 to 86 degrees. Even all of our new divers did great! These pictures were taken by Randy Williams. Here is a sampling of what we saw and some of our treasures.
