Update: Roadway is open. January 21, 2021 Route 235 Closed in Spring Township... Motorists are advised that both lanes of Route 235 are closed from Route 522 in Beaver Springs to Creek Road in Spring Township, due to a house fire. The roadway is expected to be closed for several hours. A detour using local roads is in place. Please avoid the area.

It is with a heavy heart that we share the news of the passing of Chief Tony Jordan of the Middleburg Police Department. Chief Jordan served in law enforcement for over 40 years and was a true public servant. He was more than just a police officer, he was a mentor, he was a teacher, he was a colleague, but most of all he was a friend. He gave many of us our start in law enforcement sharing his knowledge and experience with each of us. Rest In Peace Chief, we will take it from here.
