t h e p r o c e s s // Sometimes the process is a hard place to be. Knowing there is work to be done and time to be spent, and you can’t quite see the end just yet. I’ve been in the process a lot these days. Processing everything that’s going on in the world and processing events in my personal life. Maybe the process is an uncomfortable place that we’re never supposed to leave because it develops us into better, more compassionate and aware people.

We’ve spent blackout Tuesday taking time to love and listen to the people around us in real life and to research ways we can support and learn from our friends in the black community. In our experience the Church has been lacking resources and perspectives on racial inequality, division, and reconciliation.
