It's been quite a while since we've seen you in our office, and so much has happened since then. On Saturday, peaceful protests became violent and many of the stores in our neighborhood were looted or burned. The Source Bodywork office remains intact, though we remain legally prohibited from massaging clients until Governor Wolf moves Philadelphia into the "green phase" of recovery. (Date TBD.) As we await the opportunity to return to our work healing physical bodies, we cont...inue to do the work of dismantling racism and healing our communities. We stand in solidarity with our Black brothers and sisters, actively working towards justice for centuries of systemic racism. This is an incredibly trying time in human history. We hope that wherever you find yourself these days, you are safe. And that you are being gentle with yourself. We trust that we will meet again soon in healing and in health. Moving your body is one way to make sure trauma doesn’t get stuck in it. I love this video of people dancing from around the world. It gives me hope in our shared humanity! https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=KP8WxCw5VEY&feature=share
