Nicholas "Nick" Allen Fowler (December 31, 2020) NicholasNick Allen Fowler, 60, of Riverside passed away on Thursday, December 31, 2020 at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville. He was born on August 14, 1960 in Sunbury, a son of Betty A. (Hicks) and the late George O. Fowler. He graduated from Danville High School in the Class of 1978. He proudly served in the US Army. He worked as a Senior Service Desk Coordinator at Weis Markets, Inc. since 1992. He married his be...loved wife, Norma (McCracken) Fowler on August 14, 1993. He served in many capacities as a Life Member at Southside Fire Company in Riverside, PA, most recently as the company president and fire chief. In addition to his mother: Betty Fowler; and wife, Norma Fowler; he is survived by a daughter: Sarah Johnson and husband Cody of Danville; step-sons: Brandyn Cooper and wife Brianna of Limstoneville, Joseph Cooper of Avoca; sisters: Gail Hort of Milton, Lori Neese of NC, Joanne Webb of NC; and brothers: Vincent Fowler of Montandon, Mike Fowler of OH, and Ray Fowler of NC. A celebration of Nick’s life will be held on Thursday, January 7, 2020 at First Baptist Church, 12 Brookside Drive in Danville. Military Honors will be accorded by American Legion Post 40 at 11:00 AM, followed by the funeral service, and then Fireman’s Honors with a procession to Southside Fire Company for Nick’s Last Call.
