Today in the St. Margaret Hall of History we erected a magnificent gift to the hospital - the original oil paintings of Mr. John and Margaret Schoenberger done by American painter, Thomas Sully in 1841. Mr. Schoenberger’s estate was the primary founder of the original St. Margaret Hospital in Lawrenceville, as a memorial for Margaret Schoenberger who predeceased him - hence the name St. Margaret. Thomas Sully has other paintings displayed in the National Gallery of Art in Washington, DC. This outstandingly generous gift is made possible by The Family of Lawrence D. Blair.

A big THANK YOU to Amy Tilley and her daughters Bliss and Anna of Holy Cross Academy in the North Hills for coordinating and delivering 'Thank You' cards for our staff along with six bags of clothing to replenish the St. Margaret Clothing Closet. Often our patients' clothing is destroyed in the Emergency Department with the urgency of life saving measures. These acts of kindness from local school students fill in the gap for our patients and staff.

St. Margaret Foundation announces $675,755 in grants for 2021 in alignment with the organization’s strategic priorities of: 1) Patient Access, 2) Patient Education and 3) Patient Experience.
