IN THE COURT OF COMMON PLEAS OF ALLEGHENY COUNTY, PENNSYLVANIA ORDER OF COURT AND NOW this 27th day of May 2020, in consideration of Governor Wolf’s Executive Order of May 7, 2020 suspending evictions and foreclosures until July 10, 2020, it is hereby ORDERED, JUDGED AND DECREED that the regularly scheduled July 6, 2020 Allegheny County Sheriff’s Sale and all cases previously postpone...d to that date by the litigants or by prior Court Order to that date shall be continued to the September 8, 2020 Sheriff sale. All cases listed currently on the July 6, 2020 sale, including those which have previously been postponed to that date may be postponed by the Plaintiff to the regularly scheduled October 2020 monthly sale or any regularly scheduled sale thereafter by contacting the Allegheny County Sheriff’s Office in writing on or before August 1, 2020 and the Sheriff shall abate charging it’s postponement fee one time for each sale number.

My office is open for business during these strange times. Presently there are no face-to-face meetings, but assorted phone and live video interfaces are available. Bankruptcy court is functioning more-or-less as normal. Family court is increasing services daily and many aspects are fully operational now or will be soon. This is a good time to move forward if you have financial or family problems.
