The GSVUW is a very important partner with SUMMIT as well as many other non-profits within our community. The work they do benefits so many people and families in the Valley. SUMMIT Early Learning was awarded three grants from the Degenstein Foundations. The awards will go directly into our Family Tuition Assistance Fund and help fam...ilies who may have trouble paying their tuition. These funds are so important and guarantee that children get the education and socialization they deserve regardless of family income. The Union County Food Hub's Pop-Up Produce Stand is BACK starting May 26th, 4-6 PM! The 2022 Pop-Up Produce Stand season will kick off with "Family Night" o...n May 26th. For this #GIVINGTUESDAY campaign, we decided to highlight each of our programs. We’ll start with where we started HEAD START! Head Start preschool promotes early learning and school readiness for children ages 3 to 5. Children are also connected to medical providers, kept up-to-date on immunizations, fed nutritious meals and developmentally screened and referred as necessary Head Start actively engages families in their child’s education by offering family support groups, referring for additional resources, providing opportunities to participate in their child’s everyday learning, and encouraging parents as decision-makers Head Start ensures that all children have a smooth transition into Kindergarten and beyond.
