Dear Friend of Sweet Potatoes: Sweet Potatoes is proud to sponsor our 2nd Christmas Drive. Sweet Potatoes is a small restaurant located in West Philadelphia/ Wynn field Area. Sweet Potatoes opened in July 2010 and specialize in comfort food. The owner, Adrienne Cox is also an active social services practitioner that remains committed to serving the community and improving the lives of its residents. The purpose of Sweet Potatoes’ Christmas Drive is to ensure that a family f...acing a hardship has a night of joy! Sweet Potatoes’ staff will deliver a full course dinner, along with gifts for all children identified in the home. This effort is carried out through the donations of the restaurant’s staff and customers. This year we are requesting donations from other individuals and businesses to support our efforts in the hopes of reaching more families. Monetary and toy donations are being accepted now thru Wednesday 12/23/11. On Saturday 12/19/11 4pm-8pm, Sweet Potatoes will host our Customer Appreciation Day/ Fundraiser in which dinner will be provided for a donation for the drive; whatever you provide is sufficient and appreciated.
