Lots of different kinds of lettuce and basil are ready to be harvested.

Yesterday's harvest! There's still some carrots left, more zucchini coming in, summer squash and soon to be pumkins! We still need some volunteers. Pick a weed; take what you need!

There are radishes and lettuce ready to go at the garden! Help yourself! Also, we are desperately in need of volunteers to assist with weeding and watering since some of our most active volunteers moved out of the area. If you can assist, please send us a message! Lastly, we've sadly been victim of our first theft. Someone stole our large black trash can. If you have a trash can with a lid that you can donate, please let us know. Thanks!!!

Wanted to give everyone an update on the garden: unfortunately due to Covid-19, we were not able to follow through with any planned expansion this year. For those who helped us reach our fundraising goals, we thank you again and want you to know that we will be continuing with adding additional beds, etc. next year. That being said, the garden is still in operation this season. I did do some planting and there are some plants sprouting. Some of the beds have clearly been more... successful than others (I was overzealous and planted earlier than I should have) so if you see a bed that has nothing growing, feel free to plant something!!! Great opportunity to teach the kids about gardening. We also need volunteers for watering/weeding more than ever. Some of our regular volunteers will not be available this year, so if you can take a day here and there please let me know. Please practice appropriate social distancing when visiting the garden :)
