Animal and his Muppet friends at The Blinkinghouse are very excited to see the fantastic article by Erich Martin about "Muppet Mini Eagles Pep Rally" that was just posted in LeviitownNow. Check it out at: http://levittownnow.com//christmas-makes-way-for-postseas/
Many have sent so much love our way with comments about how much you have enjoyed the work of Kermit and his crew druing the Halloween and Christmas Seasons. Some have asked if you can contribute to help cover the expenses. Of course we have declined using a phrase we borrowed from a fellow Christmas enthusiast "It only cost us about a penny a smile". Well there is a cause near and dear to our hearts that would appreciate your contributions. Almost twenty years ago Carolin...e and her mother were victims of a horrific car accident, leaving Caroline paralized. As a neighbor we have seen this brave girl battle and persevere to the point that she graduated from Pennsbury High School this past year. Caroiline's Hope is a fund set up to assist her family, the families of other victims of spinal cord injuries, and spinal cord research. We are sorry we didn't have this set up earlier to reach you during the season of giving. But the whole gang at The Blinkinghouse would appreciate anything you can do for this very worthy and local cause. Thank you ahead of time from all of us at The Blinkinghouse. For more information click on https://www.carolineshope.org/the-blinking-house . If you would prefer to contribute by check please send your contributuin to: Caroline’s Hope 1313 S. Pennsylvania Ave. Morrisville, PA 19067 Perhaps writing Blinkinghouse on the comment line. Thanks again for anything you can do to help. See more
We thought it only fitting to close out this Christmas season with this heart felt song from Kermit. Now that our Very Merry Muppet Christmas Party has come to a close, we want to thank all of those who allowed us to be a small part of your Christmas celebration. The steady flow of cars, the kind on line comments, and the in person remarks were all uplifting to us and greatly appreciated. If you haven't already done so please Like/Follow our The Blinkinghouse Facebook page so you can be sure to recieve any posts and updates during the coming year. As we give our cast a well deserved rest until we bring them back for our Not so Spooky Halloween Party in October, we want to say one last time Happy New Year from all of us here at The Blinkinghouse.
Sorry to have to remind everyone that tonight (Saturday 1/9/2021) is the last night we will be running our show. Tomorrow the long depressing job of dismantlng, testing, repairng, packing, and storing begins. So if you want one last chance to say good bye to the Muppets, Disney Characters, Snowmen, Reindeer, Penguins, or Santa, see you tonight The Blinkinghouse. As always the 35 minute shows will run continuously from 5:50 to 9:30.
Perhaps motivated by the events of the past couple of days, or by our many neighbors continuing to light their displays, or by very generous comments on line and in person, or by a reluctance to move on from the good feelings generated by the Christmas Season, Animal is insisting that we continue to allow he and his friends to perform a few more evenings. So not wanting to upset the poor little guy (in all of us), The Blinkinghouse will continue to run our 35 minute show nightly from 5:30 PM to 9:30 PM through Saturday Jan 9th. Stop by and say good bye to your favorite Muppet or Disney Character or just to get a half hour (hour if you stay through two performances) escape from the real world.
With everything that goes on outside @The Blinkinghouse, we are often asked what's going on inside. Here is a small sample. Remember our outside show is running 5:00 to 9:30 each evenening through Jan 6th.
We realize that our Kermit, our singing Muppets, and our Disney Characters are the favotires of many, especially those families with small children. But with every one of our 20 songs there is a lot going on in our side and back yards. We are very proud of our tall trees in the back that are choreographed with each song. Here is a song and a viewing angle that we feel highlights the interaction of all aspects of The Blinkinghouse. It is one of our favorites. Enjoy and remember we are planninig to run our show from 5:00 to 9:30 PM each evening through Jan 6th.
