Rev. S.D. Neely, Sr. Pastor MAY THE LORD give you peace in your heart this season. May you continue to prosper and be in good health even as your soul prospers. Pray for one another. This season the Lord is opening doors that no man can shut. Trust God in all things. He promised that all things will work together for our good. Be blessed, for we must continue to press on to the mark of the most high calling in Christ Jesus, (Philippians 3:13-15) and continue to grow in God spiritually. Walk in the new things. God’s grace is always with each new day’s new mercies, we see each morning. Be ready for the new things God has for us. Receive the blessings and miracles of God. Step out of hope to expectancy. Put your trust in Him. Trust in the Lord and His promises for they are true, yes, and Amen (so be it).

The Historical ENON Baptist Church Rev. S. D. Neely, Sr. Pastor The Holy Spirit is Power! The power of the Holy Spirit is the power of God. The Spirit is the third Person of the Trinity. Many great works of Power are made manifest. God’s Power was first seen in the Act of Creation. It was by His Power the world came into being. Power is the capacity to direct the course of events The Holy Spirit is the POWER OF GOD to act infinitely, unconstrained, and eternal. The Holy Spiri...t is exclusive. It was by His Power the world came into being. (Genesis 1:1,) 1 When God began creating the heavens and the earth, 2 the earth was a shapeless, tumultuous mass with the Spirit of God ominous over the dark vapors. (TLB). The Holy Spirit Power and authority supernaturally controlled by our Almighty God. Job 26:13) The heavens are made beautiful by his Spirit. It is God’s strength by which we are enabled to serve him, yet too many of God’s children attempt to carry out supernatural works in their own human strength. It is only by the Holy Spirit’s sovereign will that people are born again (John 3:5-7), Jesus replied, to Nicodemus, what I am telling you so sincerely is this: Unless you are born of water and the Spirit, you cannot enter the Kingdom of God. The Spirit of God wells in all believers. But there is a distinction between having the Holy Spirit within and the Holy Spirit releasing power in your life. The Holy Spirit’s Power is presented to every person who is willing to serve God and meet the requirements. Being Born of the Spirit is the New Birth. This birth is the work of the Holy Spirit, who places the believer in a right relationship with the God. John 1:13, 13 Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. When He calls us to do his will we are clothed in Power of the Holy Spirit. See more

Fear or Faith? From: Dr. Charles Stanley Matthew 14:22-33 Many Believers will go through life missing divine opportunities because they are afraid to live as God intends. Fear can paralyze us then we live life with lost chances to serve, minister, or see the Lord’s work up close. Consider the 11 disciples who stayed in the boat when Peter got out and walked to Jesus. How many times must each man have regretted choosing safety over the intense joy of stepping on water next to ...the Son of God? But Andrew, John, and the others missed their opportunity. Unfortunately, many Christians stay in the boat all their lives. At the end, these same folks probably wonder why their lives seemed empty. We easily succumb to fear’s potency when we attempt to endure trouble in our own strength. We weren’t created to live in such a way. God designed us to function best when we allow Jesus Christ’s divine power to supplant our weakness. As he stood on the surface of the Sea of Galilee, Peter looked around at the fierce wind and remembered that no human can walk on water. His own strength was inadequate to keep him afloat, and he quickly sank. Jesus’ greater power was sufficient to lift Peter from the sea and carry them both safely to the boat. Apprehension can paralyze the believer and consequently freeze the Lord’s plan. But responding with faith to God’s directions unleashes divine power and sets His work in motion. The moment that we step out of the boat and move away from the familiar boundaries of our limited strength, we walk by faith. See more

I am announcing my faith publicly. My name is Sheila Michael and I am a believer in The Lord Jesus Christ and I love The Lord with all my heart, soul, mind, and strength, despite the fact that I'm sinner saved by His grace and mercy. I believe that The Lord Jesus Christ is the Son of God, that He was crucified on the cross where He died for my sins. He rose on the 3rd day to give me salvation. He loves me dearly, and forgives my sins. His Word (The Holy Bible) says, if I d...eny Him before men, He will deny me before His Father in Heaven. This is the best challenge I've ever seen on Facebook. So if you love Him, and you're not ashamed, just copy and replace my name with yours and make this your status update. Can I get an Amen for being a Christian and a follower of The Lord Jesus Christ? I’m truly Blessed, and may you be blessed exceedingly abundantly above whatever you may think or ask! God declares you righteous and gives you grace and love. Be Blessed. See more
