The Documentary also highlights the contrast to the present day challenges "Northeastern Pa. cities and towns are facing and the ways in which the people of our area are meeting those challenges. FULL LENGTH DOCUMENTARY -The Chamber Gallery, Carbondale, Pa, --The Making of the Exhibition "METROPOLIS"

As Director of the Chamber Gallery I am so pleased to announce that our Collaborative Documentary "Metropolis" IS NOW COMPLETED and Distribution will be announced SOON. "Metropolis" was shown 2 days ago at a meeting of Women to Women Thrive to Rave Reviews !!! This Documentary was begun creation in May and gave us all a sense of purpose and a creative outlet during this dark time. Social Distancing and sanitizer was implemented and only 3 people were working at a time -myself..., the artist, and the Videographer. Masks were used except during filming sequences and was in production on week ends over a 4 month period depending on individuals schedules and then the hard work of extensive editing was done and competed 3 days ago. It is a true Labor of Love. The Artists ---Warren Cox, Kathy Fallon, Kenny Ganz, Cindy Cyd Pearl, Alice Taylor-McGraw and Ruthanne Jones have been beautifully interviewed, including informative on site locations with Kenny Ganz and Warren Cox, background on all the artists work and lives and photographs of their artistic work as well. IT IS a Major Production and a wonderful Success! Because of the cancellation of the Opening Reception, which had been ready and hung to open March, 21. 2020 but was rightfully cancelled March 16th due to the Pandemic Lock-down, we wanted to preserve the exhibition by Creating a Documentary all about "Metropolis" and it was made possible through the efforts of the Community group "Women to Women Thrive by their support and encouragement Thank You !! Also thank you to the extraordinary Artist, Videographers- Brian Roth-Masters and Melissa Santarelli Anowai and The Major editing, voice overs and music achieved by Brian Roth-Masterss and Ruthanne Jones.
