The Fried Chicken Sammy got a makeover! Same ingredients, same breading, same great taste- but we now have full chicken patties from @maywahnyc . We bread them with a blend of bread crumbs, cornflake crumbs, and special spices. It’s served on a Kaiser roll with lettuce and tomato, and topped with coconut bacon and spicy mayo. As always, we are call ahead pickup only from 8 AM- 2 PM (no walk ups!). We have some highlighted stories on our page to help explain the best way to navigate our ordering process We do get very busy and the phone lines will fill up, it’s just like when we had lines outside to get in for brunch, except you get to wait in the comfort of your own home before ordering . . . Our special this weekend is all about fall flavors, and it just happens to be gluten free! Available ...starting at 9 AM both days- Fall Tempeh Hash: herb marinated roasted tempeh (think stuffing flavors!), parmesan peppercorn golden potatoes, sage butternut squash, mini orange peppers, and kale all hashed together and garnished with parsley. It’s FALL/ my favorite season We have a real comfort food special for you this weekend- a Fall biscuit sampler. We are open from 8 AM- 2 PM for Call ahead pickup only. No walk ups. Our weekends have been very busy, so you may have to wait in line on hold as we take orders before you. Please wear a mask when picking up, and thank you as always for your support . . .... Fall Biscuit Sampler (starting at 9 AM both days) A ham/egg/chao biscuit sandwich, a house biscuit, and a bacun/cheddar/everything biscuit served with a side of sawmill gravy and a side of housemade apple cinnamon compote.

We are taking a few extra days this week so that we can all have a little time to relax and recharge. We will be closed Wed - Friday this week ( The 23rd- 25th) and will be back Saturday and Sunday. We have been open throughout the entire pandemic and although we are closed two days, we rarely have days off! The days we aren’t open are spent prepping, endlessly searching for the ingredients, products and paper goods we need that don’t come week after week, cleaning and mai...ntenance, or in Suzie’s case working at @dottiesdonuts since she works SEVEN days a week between her two jobs. The Tasty team is just 5 people right now: me (Sofia), Kate, Suzie, Emily and Autumn. We are so lucky to have the best group of people here working with us to continue to provide you all delicious food and great service. We are so grateful for the support we continue to get week after week, which has made it possible for us to take this time for ourselves. See you this weekend! See more

I just put some banana bread in the oven and I’ve got time to kill, so I am here to offer up a bunch of information that nobody asked for (which is very ME). Philadelphia will be opening up for indoor dining on September 8th, but we will not be participating. The main reason being that none of us feel safe or comfortable with the idea of having unmasked diners in the restaurant. Kate and I made the decision months ago with our staff that until there are virtually no cases, ...or a vaccine that is widely available, we will not be allowing customers inside. That should be reason enough, but if not- restaurants are only allowed 25 percent occupancy, 4 diners to a table, and 6 feet of space in between each table. For us, that means we could only seat 2 tables at a time. IF we were business minded people who cared only about money, it still wouldn’t make sense for us to open for dine in. We are able to feed more people continuing on the path we have been on of take out only. We want nothing more than to be able to have you all sitting at the counter and at our tables, hanging out, eating and having a great time. Now is just not the time for it. We are so lucky to have the support that we have in this community, and to have regulars that we really can’t wait to see each week. So, for now and the foreseeable future, our hours are Wednesday through Sunday from 8 AM to 2 PM for Call ahead pickup only. See more

We are not taking walk up orders, so even if you come here you will still need to call we are taking every necessary precaution to keep you and our staff safe.
