This past year has been tough on us all, but the sun is starting to shine it’s way through! @abceastpa , @tradesforadifference, and @liguoriacademy are proud to announce the launch of our Philadelphia, Opportunity, Workforce, Education & Resource Initiative (P.O.W.E.R). This FREE 12 month Apprenticeship Training Program will provide students (all ages are welcome) with accredited vocational educations & certifications, on the job training, and full time paid emplo...yment opportunities in the Carpentry, Electrical, and Plumbing trades. There is no better way to kick start your career in the construction industry then to earn while you learn as an apprentice. Your journey toward success starts now! We are proud to announce that Trades for a Difference has been awarded the PHL TCB Cleaning contract from the Philadelphia Commerce Department, for the beautification of the Chew & Chelten Ave. to Chew & Meehan Ave. corridor. We will be employing community members at $15.00 per hour to provide cleaning services, while working with the City of Philadelphia to create pipelines into city employment opportunities. Collective Impact Works Best! Trades for a Difference will be teaming up with Jumpstart Germantown - Improving Our Community One House at a Time to remove nuisance bandit signs from throughout our Northwest community but we need the communities help!
