Due to the current situation we're operating on very limited hours. We're still here to serve your ESSENTIAL cycling needs. Customers are not allowed in the store and haven't been for a couple of weeks. Our staff is taking every precaution to limit contact. We also strongly advise customers who are waiting outside to keep a safe distance from others. Six feet is not enough. Please don't touch anything but your own bicycle. Please be nice to our staff and other patrons. Servi...ce customers: if your bicycle is in dire need of repair and riding this bicycle is necessary to maintain your mental and/or physical health please call in to make an appointment. Pick up and drop off service may be available. There will be a rack on the side of the building with a washing station. You may hang it on the rack and leave it there. Due to the handling procedures we cannot offer minor repairs. There is a $50 handling fee per bike for any service under that amount. Sales customers: Call ahead for curbside pick up or home delivery of goods. It's very important to have your order ready and paid for at time of pick up. Browsing will have to wait until things normalize.If you need to buy a new bike we have many in stock and can special order them as well. We must have a conversation to nail down the perfect bike for you before you come to the store. Home delivery is preferred. We'll be here 11:00 to 4:00 to answer calls. Six feet isn't nearly enough distance when you're on the bike. Avoid crowds. Smile and wave. Be kind to one another.

You're all probably aware that Governor Tom Wolf made a statement yesterday ordering many businesses to close. Some of the clauses in these closures may or may not apply to the goods and services we provide. To many we're essential to wellness through exercise or we're necessary transportation but to many we're also a big ol' toy store. Are we closed or are we open? That's also unclear to me. There are many reasons for us to be compelled to continue to service the customers ...we've made promises to in as safe a way as possible. Can we do pickup and delivery of service bikes? Can we deliver products to our loyal customers who would much rather deal with us than online retailers? Online retailers are still operating but the delivery times are pushed way out. These are the hard guidelines we will have at least for the weekend. Our doors are closed. Period. We can no longer in good conscience invite you into the store we all love. It kills me to say but it's just not appropriate to have you in. We will not be scheduling service for now. That includes curbside or pick ups. We will deliver your repair bikes that are already in the cue. We will also deliver you the special order bikes you've been eagerly waiting for. If you need, and I mean NEED a new bike or equipment for riding your bike to get you through this gloom and doom we will do our best to get it to you. There are some drop-ship style ways of buying product from our major vendors through us right now. Bicycles of course need to come to us to be properly assembled in order to be safe to ride. Specialized Bicycles and Giant Bicycles group have some zero percent for a year financing options for you to take advantage of. We can assist in these purchases remotely and deliver the bicycle to you once it arrives for the time being. This could change at any time. Now is the time to get outside on your bike. If you choose to do so please keep a safe distance from one another. We want nothing more than to provide you with the sales and service you're used to having so that you can continue to do this. But in these uncertain times we need to do what's best for the planet. Be safe and be good to each other.

Over the last few days we've been in lengthy conversations with other bike shops in the area. We're sharing information with each other about how to proceed in the best interest of our staff and our customers as well as people we all come in contact with. Each day we become more and more focused on best practices. Here's a list of some of the changes we'll be making until further notice: Decreased hours of operation. 11:00 am to 4:00 pm Tuesday through Sunday. Mondays we wil...l not have anyone in the building at any time. Please take us up on the offer of free pickup and delivery of tune up bikes or new bike purchases. We can't afford to do it on little things like flat fixes or derailleur adjustments unless it's a legitimate emergency. We're well stocked on equipment and will deliver for purchases over $50 locally to Phoenixville. If you're farther away consider your local shop first. We love to have the business but so does the shop in your town and they need it now more than ever. Credit card only and payment over the phone is preferred. We will open the door for only one adult at a time and we urge you to stay within the marked area at the front door. Sorry no kids inside the store. It's too tempting for them to dash off and start touching things. Everything anyone touches needs to be sprayed with disinfectant. If you're dropping off a bike for service do not try to bring it inside. Someone will come out to inspect it for you. It must be cleaned by us before we bring it in. Please bare with us during this unusual period of time. We'll only be taking phone calls during the times posted above but you can reach out via email or facebook messenger at any time. We'll respond as quickly as we can. We sincerely hope everyone is staying happy and healthy despite all that's going on.
