Students in UNC’s digital media program recorded their first podcast in a series that will look at issues related to race and diversity. In this first episode of Talking about Race and Diversity with UNC Teens, students spoke with former UNC Youth Director Angel Atell about her experiences as a black woman, how the world is changing to allow black voices to be heard, and about current issues regarding race. The Scranton Healthy Aging Campus is closed right now for indoor in-person events, but we have plenty of opportunities to get together virtually AND our outdoor Walking Clubs are still striding along! Check out the schedule and join us! The first person to attend 10 virtual/call-in events will receive a $50 Riccardo's gift card! For more information, visit https://www.uncnepa.org/older-adult/ or call 570-961-1592.... These services are funded, in part, under a contract with the Pennsylvania Department of Aging and the Lackawanna County Board of Commissioners through the Lackawanna County Area Agency on Aging.
