Joy is often a word we hear and think 'That can't be for me'. Life is too messy, or broken, or maybe we've given up on finding Joy, so we've decided to make some of our own. I resonate with C.S. Lewis' quote and agree that I am far too easily pleased with what this life offers when Jesus so freely offers everything I ever needed and far more than I could dream up. https://youtu.be/NZ2u8bqMXQE

Listen! I don't know about you, but I don't tend to do that well. Too much to do, not enough time, too many people 'depending' on me. How might our lives changed if we really followed the directions of Hark the Herald Angels? Maybe we should do less and listen more... https://youtu.be/st3lIckZ1GI

Peace between God and humanity only exists because of Jesus. But is it possible that Jesus came to give us a gift that goes beyond healing the rift between Creator and created? Could this same gift, in the form of our salvation through the death and resurrection of Jesus, also heal the rift between us all? Can the present and coming King reconcile us one to another? https://youtu.be/Fv2Kf-sfprQ

How often do we hear or sing Christmas songs without really stopping to hear the words, or find out the back story of why they were written. I Heard the Bells on Christmas Day tells an incredible story of God's providence, even in the midst of sorrow and pain. Despite our current circumstances, can it be that God's plan is for our good? https://youtu.be/j4mK_dfZpcg

We often want God to step into our lives and level the mountains we are struggling to climb so that we can feel the peace that we so desperately want. Yet just like when Jesus came as a baby as the promised Messiah to the Israelites, God doesn't show up the way we expect Him to nor change things in the way we would hope. Is it possible that God's plan for Peace in our lives is better than our hopes? https://youtu.be/I916em_Q3TA

Peace is one of those words that we love to dream about, yet rarely feel. We can pretend to have peace, even to the point of trying to convince others and even ourselves, but this is a poor substitute for what God offers us. May the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, guard your hearts and mind in Christ Jesus. https://youtu.be/kDnrlfKdOLc
