Here’s what he has to say about his current practice: Waacking has made a major impression on me ever since I saw it in the film Breakin’ more than 20 years ago. The dance form is richly powerful. Although I revere its traditions, I also view it as a technique that is versatile and capable of supporting dancers in journeying into uncharted territories. For th...e next few weeks, I am excited to share clips of my playing with the style to music genres that it isn’t commonly associated. I discovered that it took me to many unexpected places in the unlikely playgrounds of sound. Perhaps you’ll enjoy a similar play in your practice. Remember it’s about having fun.
