This is a good example of why our office has stayed open. Imagine passing this bladder stone without a little help. Thanks, Dr. Yamamoto! We are always there for our patients ... especially when they need us most. This guy avoided the ER and got the care he needed right in our office. Win-win!
For all the fathers out there, we wish you a happy and relaxing day ... or whatever comes your way! Happy Father’s Day!
As we transition back to our normal hours, we do want to remind our patients that we will still be offering telemedicine (TM) visits for appropriate patients. We hope to make this a permanent option for the future as well. Coverage for TM is determined by your insurance provider and we are optimistic that they will continue to cover these services going forward. While the policies are being evolved, insurances are ever so vague about whether this will be a covered service... beyond the COVID-19 pandemic. We encourage our patients to reach out to their insurance providers and demand that it remain a viable option for patients. Sometimes it takes an epic event to make epic changes. Thank you for all your support throughout this crisis. We love our patients!
Another Happy Patient!

During this trying time, we are even more grateful for the dedicated women and men that have made it their life mission to care for others. This day, and every day, we salute our nurses for their hard work, dedication, and compassion. Thank you for all you do!!
As we struggle through this pandemic, it’s always nice to get a gift of appreciation for all we do for our patients. Think I’m gonna save this bubbly for when things are all over ... who’s with me!?!
As our community adjusts to the growing COVID-19 crisis, we will continue to remain open for your urologic needs. In an effort to keep providing care for new and existing patients, we have made some changes as outlined below: - prescreening done by phone prior to appointment - additional screening done on arrival - patients may be asked to wait in their cars rather than in our waiting room ... - limiting additional visitors that accompany the patient ... ideally come alone if able - maintenance of social distancing as much as possible while in the office - telemedicine visits may be offered for select patients - hours of operation have been adjusted to eliminate evening hours (will resume in the future) - cleaning and sanitizing of frequently touched surfaces - face masks available for patients where applicable These are only some of the things we are doing to fight the spread of this virus at this time. As things progress, further changes may occur. Please call with any questions at 215-750-6510 during adjusted business hours of 8am-2pm Monday through Friday. As always, we love our patients, our staff and our community. Be safe everyone!
Be nice everyone!
We are doing our best to stay open for our patients but we need your help. Our office is prescreening all patients, wiping down surfaces, maintaining social distancing, etc. but in order to make this all work, we need patience and understanding from everyone. If we ask you to wait in your car to be called - please do it. If we ask you to maintain a safe distance from others- please do it. No attitude. No hostility. It’s not to insult or chastise. It’s to keep this virus in check. Let’s work together to kick this virus to the curb. #flattenthecurve
Our office is now able to offer telemedicine visits for select Medicare patients. This may be expanded to non-Medicare patients as more insurances follow suit. Read the statement from Medicare. While this does not replace an exam, it may be good for some patients. Inquire within
We offer many in office procedures for relief of the urinary symptoms related to BPH. Here is an actual patient testimonial:
As we all adapt to the growing challenge that COVID-19 has created for our community, we wanted to remind everyone to continue to use your heads and wash your hands. While we remain open to care for our patients, we ask that any of you that are exhibiting symptoms such as a fever, cough, shortness of breath, etc. to please let our office know prior to arriving for your appointment. We can easily reschedule you for another time. We would like to remain available for our patients but as healthcare workers we also must consider the health of our staff and other patients. Thank you and we are happy that you chose our practice for your urologic care. Be safe!
What an awesome trip! Had the honor of building 3 houses for the warm and welcoming people of Jamaica. Can’t wait to go back next year! Thanks to Creators of Hope for making this possible. And thanks to our fearless leader, Joe. One Love, mon!
