The Uwchlan Township Police Department would like to say another huge THANK YOU to everyone who donated to the Toys-For-Tots campaign this year. In addition to all of the residents who contributed individually, we also received many toys from the Williamsburg community, after they held their annual neighborhood campaign through their homeowners association. During the campaign, we had an opportunity to meet and speak with so many kind and generous residents from throughout the township. We are simply humbled by your collective contribution to those who are in need, particularly this year. We took a quick count this morning and determined that we have two hundred seventy-four (274) toys and counting. Anyone who would like to donate may do so by dropping off a new unwrapped toy in the main lobby of the police station.
Thank you to everyone who generously donated to Toys-For-Tots this year. Chester County PA Toys-For-Tots is currently trying to collect enough toys to service approximately 9,500 children in both Chester and Montgomery Counties. UTPD is in the final push to collect as many toys as possible and we have until December 10, 2020 to make that happen! If anyone would still like to donate a new unwrapped toy, we would sincerely appreciate it. Toys can be dropped off at the main lobby of the police station Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM until 4:00 PM through December 10, 2020. Thanks again for your generosity and continued support of those less fortunate!
On Thursday, November 19, 2020 officers from the Uwchlan Township Police Department apprehended two subjects that were in the process of taking packages from resident's front steps. Those subjects have been charged accordingly. In the event that you know that you are missing a package that was scheduled to be delivered on Thursday and you did not successfully receive it, please feel free to call 610-692-5100 and an officer will be dispatched to call you, so that you can file a report for the missing package.

The police department has been notified that Sunoco will be dewatering the 16" pipeline which runs from Devon Drive in Uwchlan Township, to the Chester County Library in West Whiteland Township. This process involves the release of air from the pipe, which may have a loud noise associated with it. We are told that the noise is a normal part of the process and is not a cause for concern. Should anyone be in the area during the dewatering process who believes there is a problem, please do not hesitate to contact the police department for assistance.
