And as we’re readying for colder days ahead, this wonderful sake is best when served warm.... The Alice 'Ose' Brut Sparkling Rose from the Veneto has been a favorite here at Food & Drink for years. This blend of Glera - the white grape of Prosecco - and Marzemino is appropriately named Ose'' which means risque or daring in Italian: Alice is the only producer we know of in the Prosecco zone who has dared to use Marzemino in a sparkling wine. Our... initial opening hours will be: 5:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m, Tuesdays - Saturdays. You can make reservations up to 30-days in advance, for parties sized up to four guests. Reservations are required to dine with us at this time Introducing Fish for Takeaway Our full dinner menu, as well as select cocktails and wines by the bottle, will be available for takeaway during our service times. For us, a most perfect addition to your pantry - the great Maldon sea salt - and we’re currently stocking it in the Chef’s Grocery section of the shop! When using salt, we recommend taking into account cooking salt (like kosher) vs. finishing salt. This kitchen staple is the latter but it’s still incredibly versatile Maldon is the perfect finish to any cuts of cooked meats or fish. ... We also use as finish for our tartares and crudos as well as the base for large format dishes like prime rib where we gently mix the salt w/ dijon mustard, garlic, lemon and herbs in treating it as a wet rub. When at home, we’re sprinkling on the last of the season tomatoes There are many types of finishing salts out there. Maldon is beloved for good reason - it has an almost pretzel-like crunch to it. The saltiness is rather mild and natural, but the texture is bold
