Join us and the Historical Society of Pennsylvania TOMORROW, Nov. 6th, at 5:30pm EST, for "Return, Reentry, Reintegration!" Over the past two years, Warrior Writers has been partnering with The Historical Society of Pennsylvania to run a grant entitled, The Art of Reintegration: Veterans and the Silences of War funded by the NEH (National Endowment for the Humanities). The project consisted of monthly discussion meetings of both veterans and civilians, focusing on themes su...ch as suffering, homecoming, heroism, etc. Many of the discussions utilized visual art and poetry to spark conversations. We now invite you to participate in the culmination of this project! This online program is open and free to the public. Participants will join with members and leaders of the discussion groups to talk openly and without judgement about what reintegration meansfor veterans and for civilians alikeand most importantly, what it entails. In addition to an open discussion platform, the program will feature live poetry readings from some of those authors whose work was used during the meetings.
