West Chester Borough Snow Emergency.

A snowstorm is forecasted for our area Wednesday afternoon through Thursday morning. The WCFD is asking for our residents and business owners to assist us by making certain fire hydrants near you are cleared of snow and visible. This will save our volunteers time in the event of an emergency when seconds count! #wcbfire

WCFD along with Good Fellowship Ambulance & EMS Training Institute responded to a furnace malfunction with high Carbon Monoxide levels this morning at the Nazarene Church, 400 block of S. Darlington Street, West Chester Borough. Five people were transported to a local hospital to be evaluated for carbon monoxide exposure. This is a great reminder to have your heating system inspected once a year by a certified contractor. ... #WCBFire
