Hello from the "Faces of WE-GO"! Our June Member of the Month is Travis Olszewski! Thanks for being such an important part of our club, Travis! : How many years have you been a Rotarian and how many years have you been in WE-GO Rotary Club?... : I have been a Rotarian for 15 years and a We-Go'er for 13 of those years. : Why did you join Rotary? : I joined Rotary because I wanted to continue to give back. The reason I chose rotary over other organizations is because my grandfather was a Rotarian with 30 years of perfect attendance! : What is your favorite thing about being a Rotarian? : I love being in Rotary because no matter what country or place that I'm in there's always a group of like minded people that I can call on for help or for hidden gems known only to locals (in my case this is restaurants). : What is 1 fun fact about you? : I got to swim in the biggest rooftop pool in the world while traveling in Singapore.

Hello from the "Faces of WE-GO"! Our May Member of the Month is . Connor is pictured here with his wife Danielle and adorable pup Kona! : How many years have you been a Rotarian and how many years have you been in WE-GO Rotary Club?... : I became a Rotarian in January of 2021. WE-GO Rotary Club is my first experience with being a Rotarian and already my term as the newest WE-GO member has come to an end. I am really looking forward to supporting the community and helping our Club grow. : Why did you join Rotary? : I joined Rotary in the search of helping better the community that I now live in and for the lifelong friendships of likeminded individuals. Growing up, my Dad was a Rotarian and although he is no longer an active member in his Rotary, he continues to stay connected with the friends that he gained from Rotary. With having not grown up in the area, it is a privilege to be a part of a group that has made me feel so welcome and part of a great community. : What is your favorite thing about being a Rotarian? : In my short time of being a Rotarian, I have quickly learned that the only thing that matters between us is that we all have a common goal and that we put service before self. We want to help our community grow and support all those in it. WE-GO is a group of likeminded people with the purpose of working towards the greater good. : What is 1 fun fact about you? : In my spare time, I enjoy brewing my own beer. I have been home brewing for the past 9 years. Over this time, I was fortunate enough to have worked in two breweries in Delaware (16 Mile in Georgetown, Delaware & Big Oyster Brewery in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware) where I was able to broaden my knowledge to which I then brought home and used in my own recipes. Some of my favorite beers to brew are IPAs and sours, so I am looking forward to warmer months where I can get outside and brew more.

Had fun today at the Safe Harbor of Chester County Corn hole Tournament! Pictured are WE-GO volunteers Alyssa, Connor, and his wife Danielle along with their new friend Vince!
