We have lost a good friend and it is with truly heavy hearts that we send out our deepest condolences on the passing of West Pottsgrove Police Chief Matt Stofflet. Chief Stofflet, pictured at the end on the right, organized Shop with a Cop at the Pottstown Target for many years during the holiday season. He also organized fundraisers and toy drives for children suffering with serious illnesses for the Red Corner Benefit in Douglassville. The picture was taken during a Ch...ristmas luncheon with the children. Over the years, West Vincent Township Police Officers were fortunate to help with both events, including Chief Stofflet's son, Nick Rubino, who is also in the picture, the first officer on the left. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Stofflet family and friends, as well as the West Pottsgrove Police Department and the entire West Pottsgrove community.

It’s looks like Mother Nature will have a treat for all those who love snow! Check the Township’s website and Facebook pages for updates. Should a snow emergency be declared, information will be posted. Stay safe and don’t travel unless it is absolutely necessary!
