Successful day with knocking out some tuning. This Harley Dyna was posted earlier before working with its Flat slide carb. Bike was running crazy lean. Graphing shows the tons of torque this bike made once the engine was happy with drinking more fuel. Great results with top gains of over 5hp and 10tq. It maybe a rainy day but the cooler temps make it a great day for tuning Harleys!! This bike came in with running issues and leaving with a Dynojet kit and multiple carburetor changes that will be seat of the pants different.

The Dyno activity Is starting to heat up like a summer day. This 2000 Harley Dyna was in for service and a few other items. We threw it on the dyno to simply see what it would make. Found out this older style carburetor setup knows how to party. While top numbers were great, we will be hooking up the Air Fuel sensor because the whole first half of the run the bike is not a happy camper. Everyone always gets excited about the big horsepower numbers something puts down on a dyno. In this case, little power means little gains however monster amounts of joy and laughter as this process took place realizing the old little 5hp craftsman motor spins the 500lb dyno drum so well. No matter what size 2 wheeler it is, if we can safely strap it down on the dyno it can be run!

So we all know the running joke about if a Harely doesn't leak oil it's out of oil. Well in this case we are going for perfection then. This 103ci Harley trike came in with a leaking oil pan. Found bolts weren't even tight anymore. Gotta love that Harely vibration! New pan gasket will keep all the oil in this Harley with no trace on where it last sat!! Have a great weekend everyone!
