Halloween safety guidance from Whitpain Township and the Montgomery County Office of Public Health. For more information, please visit the County website or Facebook page (click above) or the CDC's website below. https://www.cdc.gov//daily-life-co/holidays/halloween.html For homeowners:... If you are not comfortable having trick-or-treat guests on Halloween, please turn your outside lights off. For trick-or-treaters: - Please do not approach any homes unless it is clear that guests are welcome. - Allow sufficient space between groups and do not approach a home if other guests are still present. - Appropriate face covering should be worn in addition to any masks that are part of a costume. - If you encounter another group walking toward you, allow room to safely pass each other, but be careful to do so safely and avoid walking into a vehicular travel lane. - Try to maintain one-way pedestrian traffic by always turning right when leaving a driveway. To go in the opposite direction, cross to the other side of the street if this can be done safely.
