Today's Gift Shop Highlight is "Vignettes of Yesteryear II" by Roger L. Thelin. New to our shelves, "Vignettes of Yesteryear II" shares 51 short stories of hist...oric Pennsylvania, particularly from Warren County. This nostalgic book includes stories about people such as Harry Shawkey who was affectionately known locally as "the cane man," businesses like Levinson Brothers, buildings like the Grandin Opera House, events like the great flood of 1956, and so much more! The Warren County Historical Society is located at 210 4th Ave., Warren, PA 16365, and is open Monday-Friday, 8:30AM-4:30PM. Not local? That's OK!
