Today, on Sean P. McIlmail's birthday, we remember and celebrate his legacy. Sean was a survivor of clergy sex abuse who was motivated to come forward at 26 because he didn't want his nephews to experience similar abuse. He passed away from a drug overdose while awaiting justice. CHILD USA and the McIlmail family established the Sean P. McIlmail Statute of Limitation Research Institute in honor of Sean.
