Few Reminders for those attending the Membership meeting Tuesday. Doors will open at 6:30PM Membership cards will be checked at the door. We are limiting the capacity at 80 with spots reserved for the Trusties and Officers. We are limiting new Membership applications to 20 People, it will be on a first come first serve basis starting at 6:30PM you must arrive at the door with your sponsor, please have your Hunting, Fishing Lic or 2A Card on you as well as your Lic, Sponsors have your Card on you. No Food or Drinks will be served. Masks are recommended but not required. If you are feeling ill or have tested positive for COVID in the last 14 days please do not come. General meeting discussion will include projects and activities over the last year, Possible Land Purchase as well as up coming events.

The post cards we sent out to members about paying dues are arriving. As stated the Pig Feed has been canceled this year, but we will be accepting dues from 9AM to 3PM at the Club House on Jan 31st. This is the last day to pay your dues, if you do not pay you will be dropped form the membership rolls and have to reapply as a new member including doing 8 service hours at the club, and attending two meetings. You can also pay any morning at the club through any Officer until approx. 10AM. Your annual dues are $30.00. You can mail in a check to the club Attn Membership Address: 2 Fish and Game Rd, New Oxford PA 17350 YOU MUST include a self-addressed stamped envelope for it to be mailed back to you. Please include any address changes or other changes that need to be made from your current membership card.

Few reminders with Firearm Deer Season Closed the Firearm Ranges are again open-but as the Big Sign by the gate says you are only allowed ONE GUEST Per Member. Don't forget about paying your Dues still just $30, you can stop by the club almost any morning until 10 or so and pay with any officer, or you can mail them into the club, please include a self addressed stamped envelope so your card can be returned. All events and meetings have been cancelled for the month of Jan and Feb, until we resume regular membership meetings again there will be no new members.

At the officers meeting it was decided that the annual Pig Feed will be canceled as currently the Social Club is not even in operation. We have also decided to cancel all Events and Meetings in Jan and February. For the last 8 months we have hoped for the best and tried to wait until the last minute to cancel things however its become quite clear we will not see changes any time soon from the the Governor or his enforcement as we were informed by the LCB if we even request ...a permit it will be denied if we plan to have more then 10 people present. As such the plan for paying dues which many people do at the Pig Feed, we will have tables setup at the club with the cards on January 31 from 9AM until 3PM. Sorry no food or refreshments will be served. You can also pay your dues most any day until 10 or so at the club threw any officer. Or mail in your dues still just $30 to the club please include a self addressed stamped envelope for your card to be returned, if you do not you will have to pick up your card at the club house, processing this time of year with mailing both ways can take 4-6 weeks. Been getting more then usual amount of questions about dues especially now that we won't have membership meetings the remainder of the year. Your Annual dues are payable Beginning October 1 through January 31. Dues can be paid any time during this period at the club through any Officer, generally around until 10:00AM most mornings. Your annual dues are $30.00. For those received by mail, YOU MUST include a self-addressed stamped envelope for it to be mailed back to you. For ...those Unpaid after January 31 of the New Dues Year, will be dropped from the rolls of the Association and will have to reapply as a new member. Please ALWAYS carry your membership card when visiting or using the Club Facilities. Please submit any address/contact changes or corrections A.S.A.P. Election day, please get out and vote, you will most likely find long lines, but they move quickly. As long as you are in line before polls close they must let you vote no matter how late it is. Thank you for making your voice heard this election day.

Thanks to everyone who came out to Saturdays Firearm Range work day, clean up was much needed before one of the busiest times of the year before Riffle Deer season. You will notice all new signage out on the ranges, please take time to read and familiarize yourself with the rules. Please also remember move your targets around on the matt to help not just wear a single hole in the center, please stay out of the berms as when material is knocked out it must be hand shoveled back in. NO Carboard is allowed on the ranges. You are required to have your membership card on you at all times while on club grounds, it is private property. And as always please clean up after yourself, and perhaps pick up a piece of trash that is not yours. The Bridge that crosses the Creek is being disassembled and is no longer in use. Thank you.

Thanks to the young ones who joined us for last Sundays Fall Kids Fishing, a lot of fish were caught and hopefully you had a good time. Reminder there is a work day Tomorrow Saturday Oct 31 starting at 8AM on the Firearm ranges, great way for new members to get their hours in. Fall fishing rules are now in effect Limit 2 Trout a day, if using power bait or something else fish swallow please catch your two and leave or switch to something that will only lip hook them, if pract...icing catch and release please minimize the time the trout is out of the water, always wet your hands before touching trout, they have a low survival rate when taking them out, so taking pictures, bouncing them off things is not good, they may swim away but will most likely die later. Please clean up after yourself including fishing line, power bait seals, and tackle packaging there is a dumpster by the club house where you an dispose of trash. *Few announcements from the officers meeting: -The November Turkey Shoot has Been canceled -There will be no membership meetings the remainder of this year -Pheasants are being stocked weekly now, limit is two a day, please remember to wear your orange as there are other hunters on the grounds as well, be aware of safety zones. -Dues are now due, instructions for mailing them in were in your newsletter, it can take 4-6 weeks for your new card to be returned as we are hunting too. Due to the lack of meetings this year please try and get that in before the last minute so there is not a large amount to do at once. -As always membership cards must be on you at all times when on club grounds.
