The latest news regarding the completion of improvements to Preston Park is that Township officials are expecting work to wrap up by the end of September. This just an estimate. Please don't plan to be in the park for any reason until an announcement is made regarding official completion of work and reopening of the park. Thanks for your patience.

Work to improve Preston Park is behind schedule due to weather delays. However, the new restrooms have arrived and are currently being installed. Progress is being made daily. A date for completion of the work isn’t currently available. But, Township officials and contractors are working hard to get the park open again ASAP. Thanks for your patience.

Big improvements are coming to Preston Park and they are coming soon. Restrooms with running water and a new, one-way, paved entrance and exit roads with improved parking are all on the way. Unfortunately, this work will require that the park be closed to the public until the jobs are completed. Tom Knights, Manager of Butler Township expects heavy equipment to start moving in on Tuesday, July 21. That will require the park entrance road be closed and visits to the park to cease until the tasks are completed. According to Mr. Knights, this work could take three or more weeks. Please do not plan to visit the park starting Tuesday, July 21. Thanks for your patience and cooperation. As soon as the work is completed, the public will be notified and use of the park may resume.
