For years I’ve had this scrap of vintage fabric. Yesterday I made it into one long, narrow sack to store plastic bags, and two potholders. I don’t know where the fabric came from and can’t remember getting it or not having it. I’ve never wanted to cut it. Cutting it seemed wrong. What if I ruined it? But, at my age, what am I saving things for? Old table napkins are inside the pot holders to give them bulk. I had thought about making a face mask with it but I didn’t want to cut through any more little birds than needed.
