THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH to the 987 Voters who voted for me I have an incredible Team that was there to volunteer, listen, create street lists, advise, go door to door and handle finances (Friends of Robin has no campaign debt from past campaigns or currently!) who believe in my ability to make a difference in our community. I am Proud we campaigned with focus and purpose with the goal to create needed change and opportunities for all of us living in the 127th District. Blessings and Thanks to All

#ExperienceMatters what a Great Experience to attend high school graduation every year with our graduating class. 3 years ago with Lonnie's class. This year will be different, but will happen virtually and the RSD BOD Members will be there in heart and mind with our Class of 2020. #RSDproud Every Year. Every Student

IMPORTANT COMMUNITY MESSAGE PLEASE READ & SHARE Good afternoon FB family. Over the last few days given the trauma we are seeing, we sought out different perspe...ctives from across our diverse community. Our goal was to gain an understanding of what and how the Centro Hispano can best support and show we stand with those in our community who are hurting. We value and appreciate all who were able and willing to have "COURAGEOUS CONVERSATIONS" with us. We also want to acknowledge the leaders and young people who organized a peaceful protest and march yesterday in our community. You demonstrated that in our Greater Reading Community you have the power to build a community up. To the young people of #DearRdg thank you for hosting your townhall last evening which provided a valuable platform to listen, learn, and be heard. Lastly, I wanted to share a few excerpts on a piece written by the President and CEO of the National Council of Nonprofits that reflects our position at the Centro Hispano. Key elements of our nation’s social contract equality, justice, and even truth have been stained almost beyond recognition. It didn’t begin with George Floyd or Ahmaud Arbery or Breonna Taylor or Philando Castile or Freddie Gray or Michael Brown or Eric Garner or Trayvon Martin or any of the men and women whose lives were taken, but whose names didn’t make the headlines. It didn’t begin with the hate crime shooting of 46 people at an El Paso Walmart in the deadliest attack on Latinos in modern U.S. history, the forced internment of Japanese Americans in World War II, or the subjugation and continuing maltreatment of Native Americans . And in many ways, it doesn’t matter when it began. What matters now is that these and similar acts must end. What matters now is that we all acknowledge that grievous decisions of the past are no excuse for inaction today. We need more than temporary healing. We cannot let this senseless cycle continue. We need change. The choice is ours. We can slide back from the current pain and stay silent. We can apply short-term bandages until headlines fade. Or we can declare enough is enough, and proactively work to change the future. Enough is enough. Let’s get to work. The Centro Hispano stands ready to do our part. #ReadingCares #UnityCoalition
