Our principal Kevin Warren has been appointed to the county's new Environmental and Energy Advisory Board. The main goal of the Environmental and Energy Advisory Board and one of its first tasks is to establish a Climate Action Plan for Chester County, said Chester County Commissioners’ Chair Marian D. Moskowitz. The focus and recommendations of this Board will enhance our commitment to preserving and protecting the environment, while balancing energy-related issues.

Warren Energy Engineering, LLC (WEE) is seeking an engineer with 2-4 years of experience to support our work in New York and Pennsylvania. The position will be based in the NYC area. Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering preferred. WEE is an energy efficiency consulting firm that has deep expertise in the commercial, industrial and institutional sectors. Our company works with many sides of the energy efficiency delivery structure with a focus on measurem...ent and verification, energy audits, energy simulations, and utility company efficiency program impact evaluation. WEE is hoping to add an energy efficiency consultant/engineer to join our knowledge-based professional team of consultants. Responsibilities: Understand and perform analysis of energy efficiency measures Prepare site-specific measurement and verification plans Prepare metering plans, install and remove data loggers, download and analyze data on to determine baseline/post system performance Review energy analyses performed by others, identifying key assumptions and the parameters to which the savings are most sensitive Communicate with end users customers and others to collect data Conduct site surveys to evaluate energy efficiency measures already installed or to identify mechanical and operating inefficiencies within a facility Conduct energy audits and clearly document and communicate the results Model and analyze energy efficiency technology, design strategies and controls in the areas of lighting, HVAC, and industrial processes Requirements/Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field preferred Legal and eligible to work in the US with no renewals for at least 3 years Strong interest in energy efficiency, sustainability, energy policy and/or energy management Excellent analytical and quantitative capabilities with strong communication and writing skills Thorough understanding of MS Excel Demonstrated initiative in problem solving methods, data visualization, and technical analysis Willingness to travel Desire to learn and grow Preferred: Experience with commercial and industrial energy using systems Proficiency with portable data loggers and electric metering equipment Experience with eQuest, AIRMaster+, and MotorMaster+, pivot tables, and regression analysis PE license or ability to obtain Certified Energy Manager (CEM) Familiarity with energy sector or utility industry Please respond via email to [email protected] if interested.
