What started out life as an old wooden 28" belt pulley, has now become a chandelier over our dining room table (which happens to be made out of a turn of the century homemade table saw). I just love working with Dusty Gold!!!
A fun new piece.
A piece of Erie, Pennsylvania history brought home. This piece, built by the Erie City Iron Works factory, was part of a furnace face that was built in 1860 and use on the kiln at the Getty Brick Works in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. It even sustained damage during the Battle of the Brickyard, on the first day of the Battle of Gettysburg. After 160 years, I was finally able to bring it home. It is now a surround to the door to my workshop.
Added a new piece. 70s vintage soap box derby car.
A fresh revamp of on older valve wheel.
Please stand back... or you may get hit with 1.21 Jigawatts! DANGER!
Our new industrial cart coffee table. It looks much better in person. Especially on the wood where I left some of the red paint that was over sprayed on it. I cut the corner posts off, disassembled and degreased it all, treated the metal, refinished the wood, and then reassembled. Before and in process pictures in the comments below.
Gauges Gauges Gauges!!! I LOVE Gauges!
We just love Brass!!!!
The last of the 4 giant window panes, we picked up probably 5-6 years ago, finally found its purpose. Now, that's what I call a statement piece. And we can swap out the pictures anytime we like.
Lyons Transportation Lines tractor trailer side placard. 4x8 foot size. Im just glad I had an available wall big enough for it.
An old 1940/50s tractor grill made a perfect cover for our doorbell chime.
Just so you know how many stairs you do every day.
