Over then next several days, please keep cars parked in driveways whenever possible to keep the roads cleared for snow plows. Additionally, when possible, please wait to put trash cans near the curb until the morning of your designated trash day. Cans should be placed near the curb before 8:00 AM. Delaware County COVID-19 Call Center Opens Monday, January 25 Delaware County opened a COVID-19 Call Center on Monday, Jan. 25, to answer COVID-19 related questions from individuals, organizations, and businesses. The COVID-19 Call Center will be open Monday through Friday, between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. In addition to responding to phone calls, the Center will also respond to emailed inquiries.... Phone: (484) 276-2100 Email: [email protected] While the Call Center staff will attempt to answer all COVID-19-related questions, the immediate mission will be to address questions related to the County’s updated COVID-19 vaccination plans and to provide assistance to individuals interesting in receiving a vaccination or test. The Call Center staff’s focus will be: Working with residents to determine their vaccination phase Assisting Phase 1A residents who have been unable to complete the Phase 1A Vaccine Interest Survey using the online registration Helping residents locate convenient COVID-19 testing sites and, if needed, help them register to receive a test through a county-sponsored testing site Answering general questions about COVID-19 testing and vaccinations General questions about COVID-19 (quarantine guidelines, masks, restaurant seating capacity limits, etc.) should be directed to the Chester County Health Department at (610) 344-6225, Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

PA Department of Health Holds COVID-19 Testing in Media Dec. 10-14 Secretary of Health Dr. Rachel Levine announced that regional drive-thru and indoor walk-in testing clinics will be held in five counties throughout the state, including in Delaware County. Over the past several weeks, there has been a rapid increase of positive case counts reaching record-high levels throughout the state, causing significant concern. Nearly all counties in the state now have a positivity-rate... greater than five percent, which is alarming. Concerning counties, identified as those with percent positives above five percent, can be found on the Early Warning Monitoring Dashboard. Each county is being monitored as the state continues to examine all available data. A drive-through testing site will be held Thursday, Dec. 10 through Monday, Dec. 14 from 9:00a.m- 6:00p.m. at Delaware County Community College (901 South Media Line Rd., Media, PA.) Up to 450 patients can be tested per day. Mid-nasal passage swab PCR tests will be performed. Testing is on a first-come, first-serve basis and is free to all patients. Patients must be ages three and older and are not required to show symptoms of COVID-19 in order to be tested. No appointment is necessary. Patients are encouraged to bring a photo-ID or insurance card. Registration will be completed on-site. The turnaround time for testing results is two to seven days after testing. Individuals who test positive will receive a phone call from AMI while individuals who test negative will receive a secured-PDF emailed to them from AMI. Those who have questions can call the Pennsylvania Health Hotline number 1-877-724-3258. In addition to the PA Department of Health testing sites, the County is also holding COVID-19 testing this week and next week in Upland and at Mercy Fitzgerald Hospital. All testimony was heard and a decision was to be rendered on October 28, 2020. Following the meeting, the applicant chose to withdraw his application. As this was the only agenda item for the October meeting, the Zoning Hearing Board will not be meeting on October 28, 2020.

The Delaware County Bureau of Elections Ballot Drop Box is now open in Bethel Township. The drop box is located outside of the John Myers Building at 1092 Bethel Road, Garnet Valley, PA 19060. The drop box became available as of 8:00 AM on Tuesday, October 20, 2020. The drop box will be available for residents to drop off their ballots 24/7. Residents are encouraged to contact the Delaware County Bureau of Elections with any questions they may have about the box or the election. The Bureau of Elections can be reached from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM at (610) 891-4673 or call the Election Hotline at (610) 891-VOTE.

The public hearing to introduce and adopt Ordinance, entitled An Ordinance of the County of Delaware, Commonwealth of Pennsylvania providing for a civil penalty for the purchase, possession or smoking of small amounts of marijuana in Delaware County will be he...ld on October 14 at 6:00p.m. in the County Council Public Meeting Room (201 W.
