Apologies for the untimely nature of this post. Since many of you have been asking... Yes, it is true that Hatsumi-sensei will no longer be holding trainings at the Tokyo Budkan in Ayase. Going forward, Tuesday night classes will be held in Honbu Dj at the usual time. I know that everyone will miss the extra space that Ayase provided for training. All the same, we have a wonderful new Honbu Dj and so we can now enjoy getting even more use out of it with all of Ske's classes being held there.

This is nothing new, but Hatsumi-sensei has finally had Mark Lithgow speak on it specifically during one of Soke's classes. I know that people do not like to listen to such things until Soke says it, so here you are.

Happy New Year, everyone. It is quite a belated greeting to be sure, although I gave a timely one on January 1st via status update on my personal Facebook page. I was determined to not write the first post for this dj page until I had a sense of what I wanted my students and I to be focusing on this year as a "theme" of sorts.
