Color Me Crazy

Still no end in sight.. however, I am doing the best I can at being prepared to open and service you all in the safest way possible. Education is key and refreshing the things you know and practice and learning what needs to be added is always a good idea!

Important!!!! It has been brought to my attention that the current move to the yellow phase and the DA and county commissioners decision to not citation anyone who opens has brought some confusion to where my salon stands. Cosmetologist licenses are through the Pennsylvania State Board of Cosmetology. Which means we follow the states rules and guidelines. It is truly and greatly appreciated that our local representatives spoke out and stood their ground on letting the sm...all businesses of Armstrong County open up without any penalties, with that being said the chance of losing our license and penalties that could come with not complying with state orders is NOT a risk we at Color Me Crazy are willing to take. We will be staying closed until we enter the green phase or until we are instructed by the governor that we can do otherwise. I know everyone is restless and wants to get their services done (and trust me when I say I cannot wait to be back behind my chair) it is not worth the chance of me opening before allowed and losing the chance of doing what I love everyday for a job. Please be patient. We are one step closer. One step left in being allowed to do this. Hang in there everyone! -Tiffany

Hi everyone! Well it’s official we received the unwanted news I was not hoping for. Governor Wolf released earlier today select counties that could open up into a yellow phase. It is unfortunate that Armstrong was not one listed and will remain in the red phase. He also stated that salons cannot reopen until we are into the green phase. ... With that being said I will be in contact with anyone that I had reschedule with the hopefulness of being open sooner rather than later to cancel everyone’s appointments. With no reopen dates discussed I will not be rescheduling anyone until I hear of Armstrong County being moved to the green phase and a date of which that will happen. Thank you all for your understanding during this crazy time. I appreciate each and everyone of you. Miss you all. Stay safe. Still hoping to see you all soon
