This week’s Senior Spotlight the ever-radiant Rosa Montanaro! Rosa is a Spring 2021 graduating Senior majoring in Communication Studies. Montanaro chose Communication Studies as her major because she wanted the opportunity to have hands-on classroom experience as-well-as real world experience. She wanted to be pushed outside of her comfort zone to maximize her career opportunities. Montanaro reflected on a time where she and a classmate had fun creating, editing, and prese...nting a podcast for a media class. Even though we were nervous, it was exciting to show others our hard work and answer their questions about our topic, said Montanaro. Rosa plans on finding a job in Social Media Marketing in the Philadelphia area. Our SENIOR SPOTLIGHT is shining on Bri Brito this week! Brito is a Media and Culture major set to graduate this Spring 2021. She chose a major in communications because of a communication class she had taken Freshman year. Since then, Brito had loved every media and communication class she had taken. This lead her to become very passionate about the media field. After graduation, Brito hopes to work for a tech company as a Public Relations specialist or write about fashi...on for a magazine or blog. Brito finds inspiration from her mother always pushing her to be her best self. When Bri isn’t in the classroom she enjoys reading, writing, and poetry. Her advice to underclassmen is to, join clubs as soon as you come to campus. Take advantage of tutors and explore downtown when you can!
